- Co-author of
the "Encyclopedia of United States Silver and Gold Commemora-tive Coins
1892-1954," which received the Numismatic Literary Guild's Book of the
Year Award.
- Swiatek Report,
which was voted Best Numismatic Investment Newsletter of the Year for 1983-84,
1984-85, 1987-88 (first place tie), 1991-92 and 1994.
- NLG's literary
awards for Best Magazine Article.
- Numismatic Literary
Guild (NLG) awards: the Best Video Program "Future of Commemorative Coins"

Spot News on Television for a continuing series involving consumer protection

- The NLG presented
him with its First Annual "Ribbit" Award bestowed for GOOD FELLOWSHIP,
BASIC HUMANITY AND APPROACHABILITY of and to those whose swim through the
swamps of numismatic organizations to high leadership, which has not deprived
them of their camaraderie, approachability and underlying humanity!
- Health Literary
Award: the first Frank J. Caggiano Literary Award (GENA) and the Wayte and
Olga Raymond Memorial Award for DISTINGUISHED NUMISMATIC ACHIEVEMENT IN THE
FIELD OF UNITED STATES NUMISMATICS.
- ANAs Medal
of Merit, its second highest award for DEDICATION AND DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
TO THE HOBBY (1990).
- 1996 ANA Convention
Master Numismatist (MN) and Numismatic Mentor (NM) diplomas as well as the
Association's 25 Year Silver Medal. He was also nominated for its highest
honor, the Farran Zerbe Award (which active Board Members are not permitted
to receive during their term in office).
